We are officially releasing our first new single, "Home", this Tuesday, May 14th 2013.
We are SO EXCITED!!!!!
The other three songs are very close to done as well.

We are also figuring out a big July show in Los Angeles & will be keeping you all posted. Yayayayayayayayayay YAY!

We ALSO officially finished recording our new EP. We are on to mixing and mastering, then we will release NEW MUSIC, a video (or two), and send out all of the kickstarter goodies.

Happy Holidays everyone!!! So excited to get back to San Diego tonight to see family, friends, AND play an acoustic show at the Ruby Room on Saturday night. Come hang with us and hear the acoustic version of our new songs, as well as some of the oldies but goodies :)
We go on at 10 PM and The Ruby Room is located at 1271 University Ave, San Diego CA 92103. We believe the cover is only $5. YAY! Hope to see you guys there!
In regards to an update, so many incredibly exciting things are happening and it looks like we are FINALLY getting dates for recording and finishing up our new songs. We are recording in December, so BY JANUARY, you will have new music from yours truly. We are SO friggin excited.

June 2012 Update
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to post a quick little update for you guys. No, we have not fallen off the face of the earth, and YES- we are still working hard and are moving towards great things including GETTING NEW MUSIC OUT!
It has officially been 1 year since we moved from San Diego to Los Angeles and looking back on the last year has been pretty incredible. In the last year here we have had the privilege of playing world famous venues in LA- meeting and working with inspirational people, we've written a lot, pushed ourselves, been tested, and have stood strong. We both feel better, stronger, and more ready for what the future holds.
We have MANY new songs, and we are incredibly excited about them, as well as the people we are working with.
We have both learned a lot about patience, and re-working songs til they are perfect.
We are proud of ourselves in staying true to our vision and waiting to be able to come out hitting hard with new material. We've been collaborating with two very talented DJs and songwriters.
We both cannot WAIT to play live- and we know when we are ready- it will all have been worth the wait. We have made some incredible friends in LA - some awesome musicians in bands, and we know when the time comes to show what we've been working so hard on, we will throw one hell of a show!

Back at it! April update :)
We are pumped to be back at it in so many ways.
Firstly- We finally have some NEW PICS! They are up on our Facebook, and I will post them on here in a second.
Secondly- we are BACK IN THE STUDIO! There was a little bit of lag-time dealing with busy schedules, etc. but we are back in action working with Ben, and things are moving again!
Thirdly- we are also working on a very cool project we hope to be able to share soon!
ALSO- we are very excited for our favorite rocker miss EsJay Jones who has some big things going on! We are super pumped for her, and super excited to actually work and write together.
All in all- GREAT THINGS GOING ON! We are intensely focused on new material, and cannot wait to be able to get it out to all of you- and yes, PLAY LIVE AGAIN! We miss it terribly.

My Elysian February 2012 Update!
Hey everyone! It's Alison :) Just wanted to share a quick update on what's going on with My Elysian-As some of you may already know, Ben Moody (founder and co-creator of Evanescence, and Grammy Award-Winning songwriter) is in fact producing AND co-writing the new My Elysian album that is scheduled to be released in the Spring or Summer of 2012. Josh Newell (Linkin Park, Bush) is engineering the album. Over the last month, Alex and I have been in and out of the studio with these two insanely talented goofballs, and loving every minute of it!
This is a dream come true for us, and it's REALLY special for me because I've been a huge Evanescence fan (and a huge fan of Ben's work) for over ten years. As you can hear from our first album, Ev has had quite an influence on me musically. What's really special about the new songs, however, is that I feel like I am finally finding my own unique voice, style, and sound.
So what's going on RIGHT now!?
- We are working on finishing up our first song, which is called "Reflections of you".
We are SO excited about this song. Alex, Ben, and I all worked on it from the ground up. That was a first for us- Alex and I usually like to come in with a song we've written together and THEN work on improving it/ re-arranging it if needed. Ben had a different plan, and it totally pushed the both of us way out of our comfort zones, which was AWESOME.
Ben literally said to Alex "Ok, now write an epic riff" and walked out as Pro Tools recorded.
Needless to say - she did. In seconds.
If I haven't said it enough, I'll say it again. AlexXx is a musical genius and I am so blessed to have her in my life and in this band! No seriously you guys- she's INSANE. I have never seen any guitar player (male or female) play like she does, ever.
Whew, got excited there! Back to the update-
That was one of our first sessions with Ben. We just sat around listening to music that inspires us, discussing the instruments, the melodies, the harmonies, and anything else that made us FEEL. We each picked a song, played it, and picked apart what we loved about it and why. THAT was the birth of "Reflections of you."
So, what does it sound like?
Different. It's still us, but it feels like it's even MORE us. Does that make any sense? I guess it's us after a lot of growth. I'm speaking for myself especially. You'll hear some new dimensions of my vocals, and I'm really excited about that.
Okay, so a few more clues- The new song has some softer singing, some harder singing (yes, you will hear a scream or two). Oh, and there's some french. Lots of amazing guitars, string, instruments, and big build-ups. Are you excited yet!?
